From the top of the food chain to the bottom, from Africa to Scotland. This week we meet Saara. She overcame tremendous odds and some unique situations that sound like they were made for a TV show. She shows us how perseverance, resilience and self belief can help us all to get to where we want to be 

Today we meet Philip Olagunju a behemoth in the world of finance. He shares his experience with us through school, university and as he rose up the ranks. We discuss everything from code switching to having to fight for your place in the room. I have Mr Ibrahim Braimah who share a compelling tale about how to turn your life around and become the person you know that you have the ability to be. He opens up and tells us what makes him tick and how he came to the place he is today.

Our first week back, and we are pleased to bring Dr Daniel Olaiya onto our show. He is an NHS doctor, Instagram celebrity, model, TV Show host, businessman and all round nice guy. In the wake of George Floyd's murder people who may not have asked themselves certain questions have come out to interrogate themselves and the culture we lie in. The protests have occurred worldwide it makes us all realise that the problems of racism are not just isolate to the USA. Over here in Scotland people of colour have similar battle everyday. These battles for the most part go unsaid. This podcast introduces us to some of those stories that may never get heard. We need to here these stories if we are to get to a society that is fairer, more understanding and ultimately  safe for all people
