Melbourne/Naarm-based researcher Niamh White is researching how queer history is accessed in online spaces. She's exploring how young queer women are engaging with, sharing, and creating this content across a range of social media platforms.  The researcher told SYN Media's Taymi Brook queer history has never been more accessible online, with quick TikToks, Instagram infographics and Tumblr dissertations filling previous cultural gaps.

Freemantle/Walyalup, WA-based queer artist Cecilia Brandolini released her single ‘Stay’ this week. The alt-pop track charts the artist’s relationship with her first girlfriend.  Cecilia told SYN Media's Loughlin Patrick ‘Stay’ provided a chance for self-reflection.  She also spoke about her experiences in the music industry and efforts to create change.

While Chela is always busy in different creative fields, this is the first music offering since 2019’s Delivery EP.
