Labelling your dance class as "Urban" is fundamentally a commentary on Black culture that is not fully understood or appropriate. We discuss the implications of this in this podcast and, more deeply, what this requires in terms of leadership both on part of dancers and the teachers around the world that we know and respect.

Today we talk about how addressing the way we work together in the dance industry, throughout a number of subjects, will help us to understand how we can become better critical thinkers and conversationalists while doing our part to address social injustices through art.

Tarik shares a bit with us about how moving into Acting has helped reinvigorate his relationship with Dance.
