(Gen. 15:15) Peace is well being (Gen. 29:6) and freedom from anxiety. (1 Sam. 1:17). In relationships, it is goodwill and harmony (Ex. 4:18), the opposite of war (Lv. 26:6). Isaiah 9:1-7 The arrival of Advent reminds us of our need for God and all He brings into life. Without His gracious intervention, we would be without ultimate hope, peace, love and joy. Yet because of the incarnation of Christ, we now have these supernatural resources eternally available to us through Christ.
