This weeks podcast is about two of our favourite topics, neatly tied into one rather enjoyable film; Love and Monsters (directed by Michael Matthews) follows the ill-advised journey of our unlikely hero Joel, (Dylan O'Brien) as he leaves the relative safety of his apocalypse bunker to try to reconnect with Aimee (Jessica Henwick), whom he dated briefly before the world went to hell. It's a surprisingly relevant story in these unprecedented Covid times…

It's a film of many influences; Part Fallout, part The Last of Us mixed with a healthy dose of Zombieland to boot, which makes for a strange blend but an enjoyable watch. Dion, Peta, Jill and Quinny haven't decided who the faithful dog of their Apocalypse survival group is, but the odds are currently on Quinny.
