Love Dose Mix 032: Josimar by Love Dose Records

Love Dose Mix 031: Cottam by Love Dose Records

Love Dose Mix 030: Kag Katumba by Love Dose Records

For the 29th instalment of the Love Dose Podcast series we introduce London based selector Komodo.

He doesn't care for much above 110bpm, and this mix gives an insight into the slow diggers he's diggin.

Beautifully crafted, the mix churns through low strung subs, ethereal synth groans and raw afro-inspired rhythms to create a dark yet uplifting sound.

Enjoy!

Next up is Simba! For those of you who know, you'll know the future is bright for this artist and for those don't - keep your eyes and ears peeled. Already repping for Intimate Friends, Shadeleaf Music and Home Taping there are big things ahead.

Kerouac is a young artist with mature tastes. The Cellar Door EP, released on Love Dose Records, is melodic techno that hypnotises and takes you on a journey. Released on 28 November on digital formats, this is the release to get us all through the coldest of winters.

Daniel Abram from Love Dose Records remarks “Kerouac has quickly become a favourite of the Love Dose team and has started to turn a lot of heads. We are blessed to have the opportunity to release these incredible tracks and help Kerouac develop his career.”

Podcast 27 features two of the Cellar Door EP tracks as we're taken on a sonic excursion from low slung melancholic deepness through cerebral groovers and jacking rhythms to sweat-dripping-off-the-ceiling weapons of mass dancefloor destruction - you know the ones - before masterfully touching down as we arrive at our destination.

Kerouac digs out some real pealers here.

Close the door, dim the lights, sit back and enjoy.

The mix you're about to hear is not only a fresh project from an adopted Mancunian but is a musical rights of passage for one of the next generation of producers. Born in Morocco and raised in London this young gentleman, under his previous moniker, captivated audiences both large and small across Manchester with an arsenal of rare edits. Bensser now reveals this new sound and pseudonym to the world - a classy showcase of what the next chapter beholds. Expect deep and ethereal electronic soundscapes, all seamlessly programmed and solidly underpinned with that authentic House groove. Enjoy!

South African House flavour from Manchester based DJ Toots. Enjoy.
