We can only truly love others well when we’ve received God’s love first.

It is a love that cannot be earned or achieved, only received.

“We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

Let’s stop striving for this kind of love and open our hearts to fully perceive and receive it. Rooted in His love and filled by His Spirit, we are strengthened by His presence and able to love well.
