What looks like a “small” compromise can quietly unravel your mind, your peace, and your faith. In this raw conversation, Love sits down with Nickkie Burgos to unpack how one season of disobedience, shame, and emotional vulnerability almost pulled her under, and how God met her in the middle of it. Nickkie shares the story behind the kind of breakthrough people rarely talk about: the years long aftermath of suicidal ideation, the hidden cost of ignoring warning signs, and the hard, healing work of getting honest about what opened the door. This is not a polished testimony. It is a real one about discernment, arrogance, identity, and the uncomfortable process of being saved all over again.
Nickkie’s story is a reminder that deliverance is often gradual, grace is still working, and being saved is not always a one-time moment; sometimes it's a season, a process, and a fight worth staying in.

Some people spend years trying to figure out whether they can hear God. Kayla Lloyd was hearing Him as a teenager - and the moment it happened changed everything. What starts as a simple testimony turns into a powerful conversation about spiritual discernment, childlike faith, and how God can reveal Himself in the middle of ordinary life. Kayla shares how a move from Pittsburgh to New Jersey, a church bus, a prophetic church environment, and one unforgettable ride home from basketball practice became the backdrop for her faith becoming real.
This episode is for anyone who has ever wondered if God still speaks, anyone learning to trust spiritual discernment and anyone who needs encouragement that hearing from God can start earlier than you think. It is also a reminder that faith is not always built in a moment - sometimes it grows through repeated confirmation, obedience, and the courage to believe what you heard.
Shame does not get the final word, and Nancy Mayes proves it with a testimony that starts in family brokenness, runs through drugs and self-destruction, and lands in freedom, healing, and a radically changed life.On this episode series of Tell Me How He Saved You, host Love opens the door for women to share the stories shame tried to silence, and Nancy brings one of the most honest journeys yet.
Raised in a believing home that fractured early, she describes the loneliness, rebellion, and search for belonging that led her into a wild teenage season in the 1980s, and the unexpected moment that changed everything. You'll hear how a summer in Hawaii, a sister who saw what others missed, and a fresh encounter with the Lord helped Nancy break free from drugs, end a damaging relationship, and step into a new path. She also shares why deliverance is often a process, not a performance, and why the mind can hold strongholds long after the obvious battle is over. Love and Nancy break down:
As a licensed therapist, Nancy also brings a grounded perspective on mental and spiritual healing, using vivid analogies about houses, shoes, and driving to explain why people need time, safety, and support to grow. The conversation gets especially powerful when it turns to patience, surrender, and the danger of expecting instant fruit from a new believer. If you have ever felt stuck in the middle, wondered why freedom still feels like a process, or needed a reminder that God is faithful even when growth is slow, this story will meet you right where you are. Perfect for anyone longing for hope, healing, and the courage to keep going.
Love shares insights on capacity, permission to say no, and the impact of overloading oneself. She reflects on her trip to Disney World and the lessons learned while discussing facing fear, taking the next step, and the importance of trusting in God's plan. She emphasizes the power of scripture in overcoming insecurities and encourages accountability in prayer and intercession.

Angels being ministering spirits may not be a new thing to us. But the bible teaches us something particular that angels do when they are “charged” to watch over us by God. The word itself means a direct command or order from Yahweh himself for them to fully complete the task for watching, helping, warning or protecting us.
God sees what his children need at all times, and meets them even before we ask. We see it in Matthew 4, after Jesus was tempted by the devil, and angels came to minister to him. Then it comes full circle again in Luke 22 in the Garden of Gethsemane, an angel appears to him from heaven, strengthening Jesus.
There’s countless stories in the bible and in our own experiences when God hears the cries of his children, and reaches down in every way possible to rescue them. That is a loving father who is worthy of our praise.
I encourage you today to share your divine encounters and speak about the many ways God has sent help your way, or to someone you know.
