Today, you’re in for a sweet treat! I’m joined by the founder of Nay’s Delights, Renasha. She sits down with me to talk about her life in Beijing and her journey through starting a business in the middle of a pandemic. Nay’s Delights was birthed out of a desire to have a taste of home while here in Beijing. She describes herself as a Guytiguan, having roots in both Guyana and Antigua & Barbuda, and her treats and delights reflect that. Though she began this as a homesick college student, a year later, she has grown and now delivers to clients all over the city including me! She serves both sweet and savory pastries and snacks and has a pretty diverse menu.

On the show, she walks us through baking her carrot cake (one of my faves)
