Now that they're done galloping through their Glasgow memories, Alexa and Devin have snapped back to the current quarantine reality once again. To cope with this sad fact, Alexa has made the questionable but appreciated decision to let Devin have them record an episode about MOVIES! Just to make sure he doesn't run rampant and drone on, the two are joined by special guest Elena (Culture Editor at Oprah.com, and also Alexa's sister). The three of them sit down and toss out their picks for the best movies and TV shows to watch if you're missing romance. As usual lately, the episode also features some bona fide steamy Avatar content.

After six episodes of foreplay where Devin and Alexa have teased you all with their elusive Glasgow story, they are finally ready to bare it all. Travel back in time with the two of them as they reminisce about ye olde world when we could all go to bars and make questionable decisions in public. Tune in to learn all about what a Sub Crawl is (hint: it has to do both with trains and drinking), and even to hear Alexa admit that Devin *GASP* is right about a few things and she is *GASP* wrong. Plus, because they know it's the content you're dying for, the two dedicate another Nipple Update to the quality and frequency of animated nipples on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

In this very exciting episode, Devin and Alexa are joined by our #1 PODCAST FAN who is also Alexa's dear friend, Luke. Luke has been in a relationship for 3 years, and after surviving the majority of his first year of full-time teaching while in the relationship, corona hit and has added all sorts of new wrinkles to managing a long-term dynamic. Alexa and Devin ask him all sorts of questions about what it's like to manage a relationship in quarantine, and Luke and Devin carve out some time to commiserate about romance during the first year of teaching. Plus, if it's your thing, there's more Avatar talk, this time about ANIMATED NIPPLES!

As promised, we are taking a lovely little divergence into the throes of heartbreak. Alexa and Devin are joined by Devin's dear friend Teddy who, just like Devin, came into the pandemic fresh on the heels of being broken up with. Before they get to Teddy though, our tangent-prone hosts go gown a rabbit hole of the best way to make a move while Netflix and chilling, and give a very special nipple (but really just Cuomo) update. Tune in to see if Devin finally cries while baring his soul, but stay for how wonderful a guest Teddy is. Buckle up kiddos.

Remember when Alexa said that she had zero interest in going on any dates? Turns out she was lying, or at least changed her mind, because she found an app for her and Devin to use to go on (drum roll) VIRTUAL SPEED DATES. So, for the love of the pod and all things quality content, Devin and Alexa embarked on the adventure of virtual speed dating and are here, alive, ready to report back on the whole experience for your listening pleasure, and so that maybe you can be spared the same fate. The two also chat about what they've been up to (spoiler alert, Pokémon has consumed Devin's soul), the current status of Andrew Cuomo's nipples thanks to Robert De Niro, and preview next weeks episode. Buckle up kiddos.

We are overjoyed to welcome our first guest to the pod! Alexa's dear friend George joined us to talk about his experiences as an avid virtual dater during quarantine and even before. He walks us through the protocols and pitfalls around setting up these dates, how he prepares for one, and even asks us for our first proper set of #BADADVICE. And in case you were worried, we even snuck in some more nipple discussion, this time focused on Devin and George's thoughts on what their nipples have gotten up to. Come for George, stay for how crazy it is to have THREE people on this podcast.
BUCKLE UP!

Now that you know Alexa and Devin a little bit, it's time to get to know them a lot better. On the second episode of "Love in the Time Of..." Alex and Devin dive deep, oh so very deep, on how their personal conceptions of love and romance developed over time. They cover everything from the first fictional characters they were horny for (spoiler alert, surprising no one "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is quite important to Alexa), and how adolescence was brutal for their self confidence and sense of romantic self. As always, come for the nipple content, stay for the beautiful train wreck that is their friendship.
In this premier episode of "Love in the Time Of..." Alexa and Devin introduce themselves, their friendship, and explore broad ideas around how sex and romance operate during a global pandemic. Alex also offers up her enticing theory on why male nipples need to sexualized featuring a appearance from our current favorite conspiracy theory about Andrew Cuomo's nipples.
Welcome to "Love in the Time Of..."
Alexa is a serially single straight woman. Devin is a serially monogamous straight man. They are, believe it or not, also close platonic friends. Join them on their journey as they talk and bring on guests to explore the minefield that is sex and romance and offer you all #badavice. Season One is dedicated to all the ways that the coronavirus pandemic is affecting dating and love.
