Love is the essence of servitude, I am the servant and love is the master,

Love is the water of life—I am the servant, and love is the master.

عشقست جان جان جان از عشق شد پیدا جهان

عشقست پیدا و نهان من بنده و مولای عشق

Love is the soul of the soul of the soul, the world appeared through love,

Love is the manifest and hidden—I am the servant, and love is the master.

کار من و تدبیر عشق سعی من و تقدیر عشق

حلق من و زنجیر عشق من بنده و مولای عشق
