I was doing the opposite of everything I knew and I was scared. A pandemic was just declared, I lost my job and I didn’t know what was next for me. But I did know that the Island still had my heart and I needed to be vulnerable and show up for it.

It’s our 3rd date and I had those butterflies. Was it real? Was he just trying to impress me? I leaned in and it showed me real quick what it real was..

Made it to the second date and knew he was different. Was it too soon? Should I not have told him how I felt? I decided to throw all the rules out.
