The concept of Love Languages was developed for couples but I think we need to talk about this across all of our close relationships. Doing something kind is meant to make the other person feel special but what if we are just doing what is in line with our love language versus theirs? If we do something nice, we want to make sure the ROI (return on investment) on our time and energy and money is worthwhile but we can’t do that if we don’t know what truly makes the other person feel loved. But is it ungrateful to not simply appreciate any kind gesture from others? I unpack all of this on this week’s episode.
