In today's Love Letters to... we celebrate a love story distorted by Soviet oppression. Writer and poet Boris Pasternak wrote his masterpiece, Doctor Zhivago, inspired in part by his mistress, Olga Ivinskaya. The only problem was that Soviet authorities had banned Doctor Zhivago, and to punish its maker, they took aim at his muse.
