  • In Conversation with...Nigel Honey

Join Kay and Nigel Honey, as they talk about the media industry and living with a disability.

Nigel Honey is a film editor and CEO at Ability Post Production. He's a Film / TV Editor with 25 years experience, and lives with an invisible disability. He was told he'd never be a film editor because of his disability - but went on to edit feature films for Cannes, Edinburgh International and BAFTA film festivals, and is now the Only AVID Certified and Resolve Instructor in Scotland.

  • NF Hackathon Presentation

Welcome to the CENTRALPOINT podcast demonstrating the product we are delivering. This is because it's an increasing problem that medics don't know enough about NF to assist those living with it. There is also not a central location patients can currently track ALL problems NF brings, and in addition provide enhanced, updated information to researchers and clinicians.

We are providing knowledge Graphs, NLP and Machine Learning are a powerful combination for the semi-automatic generation of insights. In Central Point we propose to 1. create a tool/UI to support patients and get feedback from them. 2. through semi-automatic techniques collate information from datasets & publications to feed KG 3. provide enhanced views and eventually new knowledge to all users.

I don't do much dating at the best of times and my love life is just like before Boris announced all his rules none existent, I seem to keep finding people that are more like big brothers that I want to annoy, not date. I still can't believe one of the best people I met online has in been in America, (another one) and that we where suppose to meet before lockdown. I wonder if that day will ever come. It appears all the amazing people I meet in the USA!
