Are you actually living your life, or are you just surviving?
In this episode, I take a step back and talk about something I think a lot of people experience but don’t always talk about: getting so caught up in work, responsibilities, money, and everyday life that you forget to actually enjoy your life.
We talk about getting trapped in routines, the reality of adulthood, losing yourself while taking care of everyone else, figuring out what you’re really chasing, and the pressure we put on ourselves to have everything figured out.
I also ask one question that I think everybody should seriously think about:
“If your life stayed exactly the way it is right now for the next ten years, would you be okay with that?”
You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going. But you shouldn’t give up on yourself either.
This is a solo conversation about life, goals, happiness, responsibility, and figuring out what it actually means to live.

Rejection hurts.
Whether it’s rejection from a relationship, a job, an opportunity, a friendship, or even your own dreams, being told “no” can make you question your worth.
In Episode 8 of Love, Life & Lessons, Khyren gets real about rejection and why we often allow someone else’s decision to become our opinion of ourselves.
We’ll talk about:
• Why rejection hurts so much
• Rejection in relationships
• Being rejected from jobs and opportunities
• How rejection can destroy your confidence
• The danger of rejecting yourself
• Failure and what it can teach you
• Rejection vs. redirection
• How to keep going after hearing “no”
• Turning rejection into motivation
Because someone not choosing you doesn’t automatically mean you weren’t worth choosing.
And sometimes the biggest rejection you’ll ever experience…
is the rejection you give yourself.
If you’ve ever been told “no,” felt overlooked, had your heart broken, lost an opportunity, or questioned whether you’re good enough, this episode is for you.
If there isn’t another door… build one.
If this episode connected with you, share it with somebody who needs to hear it.

Have you ever been rejected and immediately started questioning yourself?
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Why didn’t they choose me?”
“Am I not good enough?”
Episode 8 of Love, Life & Lessons is coming, and we’re talking about rejection.
Rejection from relationships.
Rejection from jobs.
Rejection from opportunities.
Rejection from people you wanted in your life.
But we’re also talking about something even deeper:
The rejection you give yourself.
Because sometimes somebody else tells you “no”…
and you turn that into a reason to stop believing in yourself.
But what if rejection doesn’t mean you’re not good enough?
What if it’s simply one moment in a much bigger story?

For years, I kept this part of my life to myself.
In this episode, I’m opening up about something that’s shaped my life in ways most people never knew: my ADHD.
I talk about growing up feeling different, the challenges I’ve faced with school, work, and everyday life, and how I spent years questioning myself before understanding how my brain works. This isn’t an episode about making excuses—it’s about being honest, taking accountability, and showing that your struggles don’t have to define your future.
