This is a Bonus Episode for those wanting to know more about what a family centre can offer -Â especially for families like ours with neurodiverse children.
This includes the groups that are available which provide not just a safe space to share your emotions with others, but also somewhere with no judgement to take the children too.
As well a what 1-1 advice and support they can provide in the comfort of your own home.
Not every county is lucky enough to have one and this interview is Hertfordshire focused, as that is where the family centre interviewees are based.
Angela - an Emerging Needs and SEND practitioner and Karen - a family support practitioner talk us through their roles and how they can help either by signposting, referring or coming to you directly.

Charlotte is mum to Jude and Tommy who are social media stars in their own right – hundreds of us have been following their story and have learnt so much along the way.
During the episode she discusses the boys in more detail – the differences between them – the highs and the lows of their journey so far and the difficulty in tackling the teenage years.
But most poignantly the anger she feels around Global Development Delay and how much it has robbed Jude of so much in life when accessing the world around him.Â

She also talks about how Autism, although very difficult to manage at times at home - does not define her and she lives a very happy life doing amazing things!
