In the mid 70s Moumina was a teenage radical feminist living in a feminist commune in London where not even male cats were allowed. She went to India to learn Indian dance, and ended up in Poona falling in love with Osho after a talk in which Osho provocatively attacked the women’s liberation. Moumina realised her identification with feminism (and any other beliefs), and started her path of self-discovery which led her to become one of the most experienced therapists in the world of Osho.

Sadhak was professionally very successful and enjoyed material affluence, when suddenly felt like renouncing the world. That’s when Osho entered his life and changed everything. Sadhak was so inspired that listened to Osho’s discourses for three years continuously, before creating the Ask Bhagwan App. In addition to offering Osho’s videos, audio discourses and meditations in one place (and for free), the Ask Bhagwan App brings together the sannyas community via the One World Meditation project and other amazing features. Today our guest is Ma Prem Pravira. Pravira took sannyas in 1981 and is a professional Violinist, Holistic Counsellor for Musicians & Cave Diver. Pravira played the violin live for Osho and continues her career today playing with some of the most reputable ensembles in the world.

Pravira experienced pure bliss and deep connection with the Master and the Sangha in Rajneeshupram, which are aspects completely neglected by the narrative around Osho in the USA. Pravira describes the incredible experience of playing the violin during the famous drive-by, captured in some of historical footages also showed in Wild Wild Country.

In his early career as a musician, Sudhananda did not feel comfortable with the highly competitive world of musical performance. For Sudhananda playing music for Osho was the ultimate musical experience, absolute creativity with no objective or ambition. Sudhananda experienced the pure beauty of creativity, which changed forever his relationship with music.

Sudhananda talks about how the music for Osho was composed and how creativity was the essential element permeating every aspect of the communal living around Osho.

Anuragi travels to the places where Osho lived and worked to find, collect and preserve Osho’s objects. Some of the findings include Osho’s early days paintings and drawings, hand written letters, signed books and photo, robes, footwear, and an old typing machine used by Osho. Meanwhile Anuragi works in the corporate world and is faced with the constant challenge of being a sannyasins surrounded by a materialistic and non-spiritual environment.

Nishant took sannyas in 2009 and is a Technological Leader with fifteen years of professional experience in IT, including working as Software Engineer for Google. Nishant has led mindfulness workshops at Google and has launched a new project called “The Mindful Developer” aimed at helping busy professional enjoy the benefits of meditation.

Nishant came across Osho via a book and started meditating at home on his own. Experiencing the transformative effect of Osho meditations, he decided to travel to India and eventually took sannyas. Back home Nishant got inspired to integrate meditation with the workplace and share in the corporate world what he experienced through meditation.

After reading one of Abhi’s poems, Osho asked Abhi to write the introduction to some of his books. Abhi went on to write some of the most loved and beautiful Osho’s songs. In this episode, Abhi talks about his creative process and how he gets inspired as an artist. Abhi continues to bring Osho’s energy through music and meditation at various events around the world, as well as leading meditation at the local Osho Meditation Centre in Boulder, Colorado.

Atmo Ravi came across Osho quite early in his life via a friend who gave him an “illegal” Osho book in post-Soviet Russia. Ravi fell in love with Osho and decided to sell his apartment to raise money and live in Pune. There, he had the opportunity to learn how to play meditative music and hone his skills in this particular musical genre. Ravi today plays music at various Osho festivals around the world.

Samadhi’s first meeting with Osho was a total shock that planted in him the seed of awakening. After many years of therapy, groups and professional work with hypnosis, Samadhi realised that for him the only way out of trance is meditation. Today Samadhi lives a simple life, working, feeling Osho’s presence, and meditating.
