Jordan and Mack jump into the importance of being vulnerable with God as well as with trusted friends too. This convo is a little longer than the others yet SO GOOD! Mack had an absolute blast talking with Katie about the heart of Jesus. Specifically, Jesus’ heart for us and how he has called us to Love people.  A quote Katie shares is that “Jesus loved the sinner, not the sin.”  Which is just SO GOOD AND TRUE! Jesus sees us for who we are, not the things we have done, so we are called to do the same for others.  In todays society, it is easy to categorize a person, or a group of people based on the things they do. However, when Jesus lived, he ate with the sinners, but never sinned, and we are called do the same in our own lives. Let this conversation encourage you and remind you of Jesus’ heart for people.

Mack and Kirstin talk about their personal experiences walking through eating disorders and having an unhealthy relationship with food. They will also introduce the Freedom they found after inviting God into that part of their life.  Kirstin shares the importance of telling someone about what you're walking through, and inviting someone in. She dives into the fact that the enemy's lies have the most control over us when we do not share our struggles or experiences into the light. Mack and Brensly dive into the importance friends play in our life and the impact they have on us. They talk about how friendships are gifts from God and should be life giving and positive. They dive into how the world's definition of friendship is very different from what God intends friendship to be. The world tells us we should “benefit” from being friends with someone or a group of people. In reality, if all outside factors were stripped away, like the status, benefits, outward appearance…would you still want to be friends with them? God wants us to be surrounded by friends who uplift and encourage us into the amazing individual we were created to be. We have to be willing to trust that God has those people for us. We should feel inspired to open ourselves to attracting those people.

Are you nervous about living out your faith in college or high school? Mentor and Author Marybeth McCullum tells us how she navigated college years and how she sought counsel from mentors along the way. Living faith boldly in college and high school is not easy, but boy is it worth it.  Further, we talk about how the most dangerous prayer you can pray is asking God how he can use you in furthering his Kingdom - to be used as a vessel.
