Sk: V decembri, keď snežilo a vzduch bol svieži a chladný, Marek sa díval z okna svojej kancelárie.
En: In December, when it was snowing and the air was fresh and cold, Marek was looking out the window of his office.

Sk: Jeho myseľ už bola v Tatrách, kde plánoval niečo výnimočné pre Veroniku.
En: His mind was already in the Tatras, where he was planning something special for Veronika.

Sk: Marek vedel, že taký rok, aký mala za sebou, veru potrebovala podporu.
En: Marek knew that after the year she'd had, she really needed support.

Sk: Práca jej nepriniesla očakávaný úspech a Marek cítil, že jedinou vecou, čo by jej mohol dať, je krásna chvíľa pokoja a radosti.
En: Her work hadn't brought the expected success, and Marek felt that the only thing he could give her was a beautiful moment of peace and joy.

Sk: Ale práca ma úplne pohlcuje.
En: But work is completely consuming me."

En: Jozef smiled.

Sk: "Samozrejme, pomôžem ti.
En: "Of course, I'll help you.

Sk: Rodina je pre mňa dôležitá a viem, aké je to, keď máš záväzky.

Sk: Natiahnem ten termín a postarám sa o niektoré úlohy.

Sk: "Marek si myslel, že Jozef je optimista a to mu dodávalo nádej.
En: Marek thought Jozef was an optimist, which gave him hope.

Sk: Vďaka Jozefovej pomoci dokázal Marek všetko naplánovať.
En: Thanks to Jozef's help, Marek was able to plan everything.

Sk: Ubytovanie na chate s krbom priamo v srdci Tatier bolo rezervované.
En: Accommodation in a cabin with a fireplace right in the heart of the Tatras was booked.

Sk: Snežné hory, stromov pokrytých mrazom a pohodlné kreslo pred horiacim krbom – všetko bolo pripravené.

Sk: Prišiel deň, keď Marek vzal Veroniku do Tatier.
