We all want that relaxing, cozy and clean feeling when we go home. Our homes are powerful vessels for our creativity, growth and rejuvenation. We want our spaces to be safe for not only our families, but our planet as well. We are excited to introduce you to our new topic series for summer! We are starting today with a Go Green home series. Each week we will be tackling a different part of your home and giving you some tips that can be easily attained to help you green up your space. We will be talking about the kitchen, laundry room, pet care, bathroom, lawn care and even technology!! We are so excited for this home series. We hope that it will encourage you to be mindful of your space.

To kick things off we will be talking about sustainable home decorating and tips for moving with the Earth in mind in today's episode. We share some of our favorite ways to find sustainable decorations and home furnishings while not breaking the bank. When decorating this way, it really gives a new purpose to the items and creates a beautiful sanctuary for you to live in! Natalie also gives us some tips on moving with the Earth in mind and what she did to make their recent move more sustainable!

Today we have a real special guest...Jess's husband Jared!! He is here today to share about his journey into veganism, clean living and his hopes for our son and the future. He discusses his mind shift change and how he thinks now and approaches things differently. He discusses how his health has changed since he changed his diet and how he is now conscious of all the products he uses. It was so fun to have him on here and to be a part of this.

She spends her time giving herbal talks at many places and various platforms such as Morehouse College, The Healthy Muslimah Summit, The Natural Birth Natural Body Conference and more.  She is the author of several books, her most recent a children’s herbal adventure book called: Sam: The Junior Herbalist. We are so honored to bring you our conversation with Marisa Miller Wolfson. She is the writer and director of the award-winning documentary, Vegucated and co-author of The Vegucated Family Table. We have shared Marisa a lot already on this podcast! We talk about Vegucated on our Documentary episode and we share all the highlights of her book in our Adult Literature episode. The veg community, vegan foods, exposure of factory farming and all around knowledge of veganism has come a long way since she filmed the documentary. She shares with us a little bit of what she will be bringing to the summit which includes ways to navigate being a parent of vegan kids, but really any kids that have an alternative way of eating. They are both professional tap dancers whose lives and careers were in jeopardy due to changes in their health. They eventually discovered food was their prescription and healed themselves from the inside out, which led to them publishing their book. We had the best time chatting with them. It was so fun to see everything they have in their pantry and how to use foods to nourish your body. They had so many great and simple tips for living day to day with any kind of food intolerance or alternative diet. It was inspiring and insightful!
