The summer after graduating from college, Dawn meets dancers from a Ukrainian ballet company and befriends them. Her continued interaction with them creates a desire to go to Eastern Europe. When she is presented with the trip of a lifetime to travel across the sea with an arts outreach team, she is reminded of a prophecy she has received: by the end of the year she will take her desired trip, but also she will meet her husband.
