Love Your Enemies Part 2

Listen Later

One of the more challenging teachings of Jesus is to love your enemy. But it’s given for good reason. It’s not just for the benefit of your enemy it benefits you, as well. We’ve been making our way through Second Kings. Last time we were together we began to consider how God’s people are to respond to their enemies. In Second Kings chapter six we were reminded of the problem in the battle against evil that we’re too often ill-equipped to handle. To help remedy that and assure we respond as God’s people should, we turn to what Jesus taught in the gospel of Matthew.
