  • 52. The Tuscan Life With Lisa Brancatisano
We had a delightful time with Lisa on a rainy day in Florence via Zoom. While we Las Vegans love getting any drop of rain, Lisa prefers the sunny days when she’s running around town. We felt like we gained a new friend to visit when we’re in Florence. She’s created a lifestyle that allows time with her kids and work that gives her that creative outlet and social satisfaction of showing visitors the best that Florence has to offer. Check out her website to see what else she offers. Watercolor classes, customized private tours to suit your interests whether it’s food, coffee, wine or all of the above!
Lisa Brancatisano was born in Melbourne, Australia to an Italian father and English mother. She first travelled to Florence in 1993 to learn Italian where she also learned to paint with watercolour. Lisa studied fashion design and has worked in the fashion industry for over 30 years both in Melbourne & Florence but In 2016, she created the This Tuscan Life lifestyle magazine which celebrates the best of everything & everyone in Tuscany.
In 2020 she returned to painting and has since received commissions for family and pet portraits, corporate logos, as well as Florence and Tuscan landscapes. Lisa also offers This Tuscan Life Experiences, including food, fashion and artisan walks. She lives in Florence with her husband Emiliano and two sons, Matteo and Thomas.

  • 49. Cooking Under The Tuscan Sun With Chicca Maione
In today’s episode we re-do our interview since our last one disappeared. Chicca graciously joined us for the second time and we learned new things! Chicca is originally from Naples and was an architect before buying and restoring her current home in Tuscany. Now she offers cooking classes from her home kitchen with help from her husband Arnaud behind the camera and Jedd and Michelle of IntentionalTravelers.com who are the moderators and help manage the cooking classes.
We talk about her cooking club and she gives us tips on some local wines to try: Sassicaia and Ornellaia. We will plan to make it out for a visit so we can try as many things as we can! She explains what the difference is between Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Virgin Olive Oil. She always looks for the IGP label (Indication of Geographic Protection) which ensures the product is locally harvested and produced.

  • 48. Detox And Plant Based Curiosity
    Episode 48
Well in today’s episode we improvise because we had recorded our guest interview on zoom but then couldn’t retrieve it for editing! What happened?! It vanished so our guest has graciously agreed to do it again. So for this episode we talk about our trip to Sedona and our plant-based getaway. During our time, we also had a Masterclass through the Support System we are a part of. Along with Sheri Salata, we learned from Kathy Freston and Donny Mackower about plant-based living and some myths about protein and tofu. And we start preparing for our We Care Spa coming up this weekend. It’s one of those places that have been on our “someday” list that we moved to our today list. A detox weekend to give our bodies a reset.

  • 46. How To Be Italian With Olivia Windsor
Today we talk with Olivia Windsor and learn about her journey from Australia to Italy. With her love for food and wine, she immersed herself in the culture, language and cuisine of Italy and now she runs tours in collaboration with Untold Italy. She started by working at an organic farm through WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms) www.wwoof.net Who knew there was such an organization! Before she got there, she got her certificate for the first level of sommelier training, which gave her an advantage. She now lives in Piedmont, a northern town in Italy. She left her digital marketing job to pursue her dream of doing food tours in Italy! It wasn’t all planned out from the start, but as she surrounded herself with the things she loved to do, it became apparent. We’ve enjoyed her virtual tours she’s done on Instagram Live and you can feel the love she has for her new home.

  • 43. Fire AF With Victoria Weston
In this week’s episode, we talk with fellow Support System member Victoria Weston. We first met in January when we all took Sheri Salata’s Course and became witnesses and co-creators in eachothers’ lives. Listen as Victoria shares what her life was like several years ago, what led up to her taking The Course and how she’s transformed. And now her vision and purpose are unfolding as she desires to empower women to speak, express and live their own untethered lives. Watch out for her new podcast in the new year, Fire AF. We also have a feeling we all will see her doing her own TED talk and filling stadiums that will light women on fire!
