In this week’s episode, Molly is joined by her friend Lily Rudensky to talk about societal beauty standards. They discuss beauty ideals through the ages and body dysmorphia. They talk about how eating disorders are a result of these unrealistic expectations set for us and how women shaming women feeds into misogyny. While women may have internal battles about covering their bodies, they suggest that feminism is about embracing yourself. They propose solutions to beauty standards, both internal and societal.
