God is Great!   Jesus is a beautiful example for each of us, and we are going to visit Jesus as He shared compassion.  As we read of Jesus's life here on earth in any of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Jesus lived a life of compassion.  So, I need to admit, it was difficult to pick just one story as an example.  In this Loved Always podcast, we are going to visit the story of Jesus and the adulterous women in John 8:1-11.  We can really get a mental picture of Jesus gathering to teach while people followed Him.  Yet, the church leaders of that day were up to no good.  Jesus not only taught, but he quieted the persecutors and met this dear lady where she was at.   This is a rich scripture in love and compassion, and not in condemnation.  What a great story to guide our actions when we share Jesus with others.  Grab your Bible and let us get excited on what the Lord has to share!

God is Great!   Jesus is a beautiful example for each of us, and we are going to visit Jesus as He listened.  Jesus responded by having a conversation where He listened to both a man's words and his heart.  In this Loved Always podcast, we are going to visit the story of Nicodemus in John 3:1-21.  Nestled within this conversation is a favorite memory verse, John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  Have you studied verses 15-18?  We see Jesus's great love as He so wonderfully shares why He came to earth.  Can you see the reinforcement of this rich truth in scripture?  In this story, we will visit the simple task of listening to those around us before we can speak or have a spiritual conversation.  Grab your Bible (and your Walking the Talk book) and let us get excited on what the Lord has to share!

A special word to share:  Jesus's conversation had an impact on Nicodemus.  Every Word within our Bible is there for a reason.  In John 19:38-42, we visit both Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus caring for Jesus after His crucifixion.  Do you see in verse 39 about the spices weighing about a hundred pounds in weight?  This was not a small amount.  It is believed that those spices personally belonged to Nicodemus, and he chose to give great respect to Jesus as a King.  Of course, the greatest sacrifice is Jesus's death that paid our sin debt in full.  As God's children, our greatest victory and blessing has been won!

God, if I could ever speak on one topic, it would be on Your love and saving grace.  The only way I know to write about You is to use the Bible as a foundation.  Thank You for the many divine connections in my life and the countless moments and scriptures that have fed into the two books and made this podcast possible.  With a humble heart, I give You my best to Your praise, honor, and glory.
