Having the entire Bible is a great blessing. Why is that? Because there are things that we have, for example, in the New Testament, that those who lived to 3000 years ago, we're not aware of God has made promises to us today that they did not know back then. And therefore we see in the Scripture, what's known as progressive revelation.

Depending upon the day, we feel differently, depending upon what's happening in our life, we will come before God with an entirely different set of emotions. And that's true for every human being. And that is why when we look at the book of Psalms, we see a wide variety of psalms for different events, different feelings, in order that we might learn how to worship God, and to pray effectively to him, to get your Bible and look with me to Psalm 102

We all know that life can be very difficult at times. And in the midst of those hard things that happen to us. We need to remember the truth of God. And one great place to find very practical truth for life. That gives us encouragement and assurance in order that we persevere and endure and even overcome. The enemy is found in the Psalm that we're going to be looking at, at this time. And I'm referring to Psalm 103.

We have said repeatedly in our study of the Book of Leviticus, that God has made a priesthood. And through the New Covenant, he has made a royal priesthood, one who has been set apart in order that we might serve him and had the privilege of doing his work. Well, we are in the midst of chapter 10, of the Book of Leviticus.

Again, I want to ask you, is your worship pleasing to God? are you worshiping Him within that proper framework, the framework that the scriptures give? Are you someone that is applying the authority of Scripture to your own worship experience?

We have seen that there is a priesthood that has been set apart for a particular purpose. We completed in the previous chapter, the offerings and the sacrifices that were made in order to inaugurate them. And now in our chapter in this study chapter nine of the Book of Leviticus, we're going to see the priests going to work for a purpose.

We see in the scripture that God has given to New Covenant believers a call, as the scripture says, We are a royal priesthood, a kingdom, which is wholly set apart to come out of darkness, and to walk in His marvelous light.

Do you make a lot of mistakes, do things incorrectly? I do. And I know I do. Because my family is so quick to tell me this. And why do I do things wrong and incorrectly. Because I rely upon my own understanding. I make decisions. From my own perspective, this is the wrong thing to do. We need to make decisions based upon the truth of Scripture.

In order to experience salvation, you have to know the Messiah, and not just his name, Yeshua, or Jesus. But you need to know the biblical identity of Messiah, that He is Emmanuel, God with us. If you reject the Incarnation, that God became flesh, if you reject that, you don't know the biblical Messiah, and therefore, you have not been saved.

A very common question that I receive is this, How should I behave? People would like to have a list of those things to do and those things not to do. Many people like rules, they want a godly order in their life, I appreciate that. But they want it simply to be written out for them. And this is not spirituality.
