One of the most important doctrines found in the Bible and believe me, it's found there is the virgin birth. If you are going to experience redemption, you need to affirm that is you need to believe that Messiah entered into this world through a virgin. Why is that so important because the virgin birth is inherently connected to his divinity. If someone denies the virgin birth, what they are denying is the divinity of Messiah. And if you deny the identity of Messiah as a son of God, you haven't believed in a biblical Messiah.

I'm sure you've heard about the term predestination. There is a major difference between biblical predestination and theological predestination. Now, in actuality, they should be one in the same but they're not. When we usually think about predestination, the name John Calvin comes to mind and what's known as Reformed theology. And what do they say about predestination? Well, what they teach cannot be found in the Scripture at all.

When one comes before the word of God, this one should come submissively not trying to figure out what God is saying. What he meant is this really something that's important to him we're not, we should simply listen to what the Word of God says. And then believe it and implement it into our life. That is how we learn the truth of God. That is how we hear his instruction and not just here, but also obey it. If we're going to be people that God is well pleased with, then we need to learn how to study and obey His revelation.

We had seen last week how Joshua being told by the Lord that he was coming to the end of his life. And like his predecessor, Moses, what did he want to do? He wanted to influence those who would remain, especially that next generation, that he as long as he had breath within him, that he would be an example of what it means to do just that, to serve the Lord.

When we look at some of the great leaders of God's people, they have something frequently in common. And that is that God reveals to them that they are approaching death. And I believe one of the reasons for that is to show us how they did not think about themselves. They did not grieve that they were ending their life, but rather, they took that knowledge in order that they might serve God and serve His people by imparting truth to them.

In this world, there is conflict between individuals. We see all the time that relationships are broken, there is stress, there's tension between people. And that's unfortunate. But sometimes it's simply the matter of fact, that someone has done something wrong, they have offended us, and we are angry, we are hurt. And that that connection that we had isn't the same. Now what should be our desire, not retribution.

There's going to be a transition among the people of God. We have seen that the children of Israel has been victorious, they have defeated their enemies, they have taken possession of that land, they have distributed the land. And now we're going to see that the tribes are going to go to their respective parcel of land that which they have inherited. And that means for two and a half tribes. They're going to the eastern side of the Jordan River.

I have said to you many times over the last few weeks, that our God is a God of order, and a God of faithfulness. And we see God's faithfulness, when we walk and live in his order. One of the wisest things that you can pray is this, God, I want your order to govern my life.

Our God is a great God who does wondrous things. And if you are in a covenant or relationship with Him through faith, trusting in His Word as the basis, the foundation of one's faith, then you can expect God to work actively in your life, in your circumstances in your situation, in order that he brings you into His will. So did you can accomplish his purposes. For that objective, God will do great things. Take out your Bible, and look with me to the book of Psalms and Psalm 86.

Would you like to have less difficulties and problems and frustrations in your life? There's a very simple solution. Agree with God. Make your expectations upon the promises of God. Now, that doesn't mean that everything is going to be easy. But whatever you encounter that's difficult. You won't have to deal with it alone. When you are walking in trust and faith, that spirit, his spirit will be upon you, you will be living under his anointing. And God's provision will be available to you. And you will demonstrate what it means to be an over comer.
