Our God is faithful that we would receive His promises. And a great example of that is the children of Israel, receiving the allotment of land, the land of Kanade that promised land. Now we saw last week that based upon the request of the people, and also a foresight of what was going to be taking place in the future, that there would be some of the children of Israel, that would be on the east side of the Jordan River.

Well, the Day of Atonement is indeed one of the Lord's appointed days. Now, in Hebrew, that term appointed is the word Mo, Ed. And that word speaks about something that God has designated something that he has set aside with significance with a purpose. And therefore these festivals, as they're oftentimes referred to, they are designated for a purpose, a significant purpose.

Do you have reverence and respect for God? In other words, do you fear Him as God demands that his people fear him? One of the greatest problems today among believers is that we do not have the reverence and the respect and the fear of the Lord that we ought to have. In other words, we are too casual in regard to our relationship with God. And one of the reasons for this is this, we do not rightly understand God's grace. There is an inherent relationship between the grace of God being extended, and the cross, I think we would all agree that you show up being crucified and dying upon that cross through crucifixion, he died a horrendous, a torturous death, and what was the purpose of the death. So the grace of God could be offered to us.

Living a life that is spiritually pleasing to God is not difficult. God supplies all that we need to walk in faith. He has revealed that he is a God that one can trust. He is sovereign, which means what God says He will do, he is able to carry it out. All we need to do is belief Him. And God has given many examples in Israel's history, why he is worthy to be believed. So ask yourself a question. Are you trusting God with your life?

Joshua was a man of faith. And we can say that another way, he was a man of obedience, understand this biblical faith brings about obedience, Faith sace Faith gives us access to grace, and that grace with faith, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit moves us to agree with God, to walk with God to serve God, in other words, to obey Him.

We have said many times that our God is a God of order. And it's only when we submit to His instruction, that we'll find his order in our life. And that's in the society, if we want God's presence, His blessings, his greater revelation to us, so that we can position ourself where we can serve him victoriously. So the question that we need to begin with is a simple one may be difficult to answer, but easy to understand. And that's this, do I want to be used by God for his victory?

You should love victory. And victory is an outcome of obeying the Word of God, taking seriously his revelation, and not just believing it. But to experience that victory. We need to apply that truth to our life, walk into revelation of God. For there we find God's Will we find his provision, we find everything that we need in order to serve Him. Now, I mentioned Yom ha Kippurim the Day of Atonement.

Israel has had a chronic problem. And that problem is not trusting in God, doubting that God is faithful. We have learned that our God is a God of blessing he desires and finds joy in blessing his covenant people. But in order to find that blessing, we need to make wise decisions. That is we need to agree with God and implement his truth, his purposes into our life. And then God is going to demonstrate to us how much he loves us and how faithful he is to his word.
