 In 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, we are told that the Rapture or “catching up” of God’s True Church will happen at “The last Trumpet.”  This is made very clear, and it will come to pass just as the Holy Scriptures say that it will.

We will learn that the “last Trumpet” that is part of the Rapture description the Apostle Paul gives in his first letter to the Church in Corinth is actually a clear 

reference to the 100th trumpet blast of the Feast of Trumpets, which is the last trumpet sound that is released in that feast.

This connection is confirmed as we follow the full context of the Scriptural pathway Paul is giving in his epistle for instance in 1 Corinthians 5:6-8 he talks about the Feasts of Passover and Unleavened bread and shows how they are fulfilled in Jesus’ death.  In Chapter 15:20-24 he speaks about the Feast of First Fruits and how this was fulfilled with Jesus’ Resurrection.  Now in 1 Corinthians 15:51 he talks about the “last trump” and connects that with the first resurrection and Rapture of the Church.  This is evidenced as fulfillment of another Jewish feast namely “The Feast of Trumpets.”

“As we continue in our Podcast series entitled “The Great Apostasy & Beyond,” the coronavirus continues to bring the world down on its knees with the everyday activities we took for granted being halted by a “new normal” filled with difficult and sometimes painful adjustments while uncertainty about the future grips the hearts of men.

One thing that is for certain, however, is that the Prophetic Word of God is unfolding before our very eyes and this latest pandemic is only one facet of what the Holy Scriptures have alerted us will take place before the Rapture of God’s True Church, the Great Tribulation, and the triumphant return of Jesus the Christ to the earth when He will reign for a thousand years seated on the Throne of David.

These Scriptural truths should put to rest the fear that this pandemic will bring an end to the world because the new earth and new heavens will not be created until the thousand years come to an end and Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire forever.

But what man needs to be very apprehensive of is that the Dispensation of Grace is quickly drawing to a close and once the genuine “born again” believers are removed, those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and more importantly those He has not recognized as being His chosen ones, will be left to go through the Tribulation under the rule of the Antichrist which has been in preparation since the Tower of Babel and is about to be fully implemented in the religious, governmental, and economic sectors of this world and its global systems.

We must come back to preaching the unadulterated Word of God’s Truth for the Eternal destiny of every man and woman is truly at stake.  

However, the Laodicea Church leaders have become so lackadaisical and carnally minded that they have become bankrupt of spiritual power and discernment and therefore not only are they oblivious to how close we are to the Lord’s Return and therefore are not alerting their listeners to the critical hour in which we now live, but they have completely lost light of Salvation’s Mandate and the extreme measures the Lord God went to in order to insure that mankind could taste of the goodness of His Amazing Grace and be reconciled to Him forever.

It is time to awaken from our slumber and to contend even more earnestly for the true Faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). 

“For how then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?”  And how will they preach unless they are sent? 

Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!’” Romans 10:14-15

Scripture has alerted us to the reality that before the Antichrist is revealed in the earth there will be a great falling away from the Truth.  In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 we read:  “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (meaning the Day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.”

The word for “apostasy” in the Greek is “apostasia.” It is a compilation of “apo” which means “from” and “histemi” meaning “place or stand.”  In Acts 21:21, it is translated as “forsake” and in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as “apostasy.”

In the Lexical Aids to the New Testament they write that:   “In the 2 Thessalonians 2:3 verse the word “apostasia” does not refer to the Christians who would depart from the faith, but those who would eventually reject Christ.”

In other words, they believe to a point that will benefit them and their own carnal desires, but they reject the full counsel of God and when the time comes to choose Christ over all, they will reject Him.

To put it in its most simple and yet holy terms, the apostates are not those who have been legitimately “born again” of the Spirit of the Living God but are instead those who came for what they could gain for themselves.  

In this critical hour in the earth and with time being so short, the Holy Spirit is separating the sheep from the goats and the wheat from the tares with the offer of repentance while there is yet time!

“One of the trials we may face in these last days is satisfying the hunger to see a move of God.  True Christians want to see mighty revivals during which souls are saved and people are brought out of their stagnant spiritual condition and into a fiery encounter with God.  However, God’s Word does not prophesy a great end-times revival, but rather a great and final apostasy.

Thus, the spiritual atmosphere in Christianity that produces apostasy on that large of a scale will be composed of smothering hypocrisy, apathy, lethargy, complacency, flirtation with demon spirits, and rampant sin, etc.  There will be no great revival for those deceived individuals, but rather a great delusion.

Consider that God has already poured out His Spirit.  If you are a true Christian, you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of Truth.  True Christians are always alive in Christ.  They do not need revival.  However, millions of named only Christians have and are rejecting love for God’s Truth and entering the final apostasy.  They will not be sent a revival, but a strong delusion as confirmed in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 where it is written:  “that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.”

God’s Word does not declare a great End-times revival, but a great apostasy and we as God’s legitimate “born again” offspring are being called to stand guard against this demonic delusion with Faith as our Shield, and the Truth as our Sword!

“Jude exhorts us to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3).  Contend against whom? - Surely [Jude’s exhortation is] not primarily against godless enemies outside the church. The warning concerns those within as evidenced by Jude’s words: “For there are certain men who have crept in unawares” (v.4).  “Crept in” can only mean inside the Church.

Paul confirms Jude in addressing the Ephesian elders:   “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them” (Acts 20:29-30).  The spiritual deception of which Christ and Paul warned would be rampant within the Church.

The promise of revival will be part of the last day’s deception, Paul warns, so beware!  Instead, in the days preceding the Rapture there will be a great apostasy, a falling away from the faith.  And we are warned to not be part of it!”

Many are speaking of a Great Revival that is ready to explode within the Church of Jesus Christ with promises of impacting the whole world.  However, Scripture gives a completely different picture; for it describes not revival before we are taken up but instead a great falling away.

It is critical to rightly discern these realities because many are being led astray by the lure of these false promises and instead of being contenders for truth they are accumulating teachers in accordance to their own desires and being directed by fables and lies and experience over doctrine.

God’s people are a victorious people to be sure; however, we must not forget that His kingdom is not of this world. Therefore, our calling as citizens of that Heavenly domain and ambassadors for His Truth that alone will lead the lost to Eternal Life’s destination, is to ransom people out of the world and its sin and darkness into God’s glorious and Grace endowed Kingdom of Love and Light.

As we follow that sacred mandate, the call to beware of the enemy’s very masterful and strategic counterfeits has never been more urgent than it is now!  And we will be wise to not ignore it.

The departure from the Truth of God’s Word, and trust in Jesus Christ alone for Salvation’s Eternal Life Promise, is perhaps the exclamation point behind the many other prophetic indicators that are being unveiled before our eyes as current events mirror what has been foretold in “Last Days”  it is happening now reality.

Echoing the Berean Call, and knowing that we are in the last of the last days, with an imminent Rapture a very real hope, our thoughts often (and indeed should) turn to the signs that Christ said would herald the nearness of His Return.  Some of these signs that are most widely cited include “wars and rumors of wars, nation arising against nation and kingdom against kingdom, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes… are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:6-8)

Unquestionably, these specific “sorrows” have been both prominent and accelerating since Israel again became a nation in 1948.  Since that time, the intensity and frequency of these signs have increased like the birth pangs of a woman approaching her time of delivery, exactly as Christ foretold.  However, the first sign that Christ gave has been largely overlooked and His solemn warning neglected:

“Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall deceive many…For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and they shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive even the very elect.”

In this Podcast series, we will be taking a penetrating look into this religious deception through the lens of God’s inerrant Word of Truth, with sacred warning that should insulate us from falling prey to this demonic mutiny against Salvation’s Holy Mandate.

“The Bible warns us that a religious leader will arise in the last days who will unite the world into a “One-World” Religion.  He will have the appearance of a lamb (Rev. 13:11), which means he will appear to be a follower of the Lord.  However, in reality he is an imposter and a deceiver.  His true identity is the second beast, [a.k.a.] The False Prophet. 

His campaign to unite the world’s religions will ultimately lead people of all faiths to come together for the purpose of worshiping the first beast, The Antichrist.

Only a religious leader could fulfill the requirements of having the appearance of a lamb and leading the world in worship.  So believers have been warned in advance to be on the lookout for this leader.  Our alarms should be sounding when we see someone taking actions to unite the religions of the world. 

Today we see a religious leader taking action to unify the religions of the world in ways that are unprecedented.  His name is Pope Francis, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

In this Podcast, we will take a sobering look at some of his official acts as Roman Catholicism’s leader in order to discern the part he is playing in the formation of the Antichrist’s “One World” Religion, with warning to those who proclaim to be “Born Again” believers in Jesus Christ the Lord to resist at all costs joining with him, as many Evangelicals are presently doing, in his superficially meaningful causes that are hiding his true intentions.

In a commentary written for “Christian Evidence” they note that: “According to Scripture, the greatest religious leader in history – the Antichrist’s right hand man (a.k.a. as the False Prophet) – will arise from Rome to [lure] humanity to worship the Antichrist and deceive countless people near the time of Christ’s Return.

The False Prophet is the leader of the false church [revealed as the “Harlot”] in Revelation 17:1-5, and there is strong evidence that this false church is the Roman Catholic Church.  Thus, it is highly likely that the Pope [who will be] in charge of the Catholic Church at the end is the False Prophet who works with the Antichrist throughout the Tribulation period.

From a prophetic standpoint, out of all the popes who have come and gone in the past century, Jorge Mario Bergoglio a.k.a. Pope Francis who became Pontiff of the Catholic Church on the 13th of March, 2013, has accomplished more in [the short time he has ruled] than all these popes combined!”

Discernment mandates that we pay strict attention to the actions of Roman Catholicism’s current Pontiff in order to remain separate unto Holiness, and to stand strong in our contending for the unadulterated Word of God’s Truth!
