E. Lamar Young is the pastor of LifePoint, A Transformational Church. where he has served as senior pastor since March 20, 2019.He became a Christian at the age of twelve (12), and received his calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the age of sixteen (16). After graduating from high school, Pastor Young became a United States Marine serving as an Artillery Weapons Specialist and Sharp-Shooter the first two (2) years of military service, and completed his last two (2) years of active duty service as an Assistant to the Office of the Chaplaincy. After being honorably discharged from military service, Pastor Young returned home, enrolled at Unity Theological Seminary where he completed academic studies in Educational Ministries which was followed by receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling & Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling & Psychology from the Christian Bible College & Seminary.
