In part 2 of our examination of Acts 22, we continue to study Paul's testimony to the crowd in Jerusalem that had wanted to kill him. Learn what it is about Paul's words that gets the crowd angry again, and how such an incident is similar to what Jesus had to endure at the beginning of His earthly ministry.

In Acts 21, the Apostle Paul was attacked by a mob who wanted to kill him. In Acts 22, we see Paul deliver his testimony to this same group of angry Jews. How does Paul tell this testimony in a way that would have spoken to them? And what does this say to us today? We begin to explore this in this episode.

This episode considers the proofs laid out in Scripture to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, what that meant to the people in the first century, and what that means for us today.

The Apostle Paul is no stranger to angry crowds, and at the end of Acts 21, Paul finds himself faced with another mad mob. This time, however, the move against him will lead to the end of his freedom in the book of Acts. See how things went down as we begin to catalog Paul's journey from Jerusalem to Rome.

The elders at the church in Jerusalem convince the Apostle Paul to carry out tasks that are part of Jewish custom in order to debunk false rumors being spread about him that he was against Jewish tradition and was teaching other Jews to abolish the customs of Moses. Some have felt that Paul compromised on the truth of the gospel when giving in to this request. But is this the right conclusion? We answer that question in this episode.

What would you do if someone told you with certainty that the course that God was directing you to would lead to arrest and imprisonment? Would you change course, or would you continue in obedience? In Acts 21, we see the determination of the Apostle Paul in the face of upcoming hardship, as he expresses his willingness to suffer for the name of Jesus Christ.

This episode is of a sermon I preached on Ephesians 4:11-16 on New Years Day, 2017. In this passage, we see that all Christians are ministers and help in the growth of the body of Christ. We'll see what this looks like and why this is important as we unpack this passage.

In addition to staying the course in shepherding the church, pastors and elders are ones who stay the course in protecting the flock from false teaching and in ministering to the weak. This episode highlights the importance of these areas of ministry as we finish our examination of Acts 20.

The calling of pastors/shepherds/elders is no small one. In giving his farewell address to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20, Paul wants them to know this. In this episode, we discuss how the shepherding task is so important and how both the leaders and the laity should understand this position from a biblical point of view.
