Today's episode is all about navigating the holidays after infant loss and or pregnancy loss. The holidays are here and it’s more important than ever to protect and care for ourselves, especially parents who lost their babies. Rather it was a miscarriage, stillbirth, premature delivery, disease, SIDS, or any other tragedy, it all sucks and it all hurts beyond words. While the world gets a little brighter for everyone else, the days often seem darker to those who grieve the hardest this time of year. It’s you natually feel the most frustration, sadness, guilt, shame, envy, fear, insecurity, emptiness, depression, and isolation at a time that should be the most exciting for us all. For this reason, I want to make sure I talk to other angel parents like myself to help you navigate those emotions and protect yourself the most during this holiday season.
