If this was the last edition of an F1 race at Imola, it sure went out with a bang! Thanks to Pirelli throwing teams a curveball with the tires and a couple of safety cars, the European Summer started off spectacularly. Between the Italian flag-colored curbs, history was made up and down the grid as the Drivers' Championship got even spicier! It may only be early May, but on Formula 1's calendar, it's already summer! Welcome to the first stop of the "European Summer" and the first stop of another triple header: Imola! We've got amazing racing coming for three weekends in a row, but one team didn't take much of a break during their week off as they watched their team principal resign and one of their drivers get replaced.
