Dr Katie Schofield is a Registered Nutritionist based in New Zealand with a PhD in Low Energy Availability (LEA) and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S). 
Katie came to understand more about LEA after experiencing it as an elite track cyclist, however it was 2 years before what she was experiencing was given a name. Katie describes herself as the 'go-to-gal' to get the most out of your body and your performances and with her personal experience in LEA as well as high academic qualifications in this area, she is a wealth of knowledge and expertise to give us insight into this condition.

What is LEA, what are the symptoms, how it effects both women and men, the consequences of LEA and how to address it as well as a whole lot more!
