Kathleen is the president & CEO of ACVREP which provides certifications for those in the low vision field. The certifications include certified low vision therapist (CLVT), certified vision rehabilitation therapist (CVRT), certified orientation and mobility specialist (COMS), certified assistive technology instructional specialist for people with visual impairments (CATIS), and certified deafblind intervenor specialist (CDBIS).

There are two ways for OTs to get the CLVT designation.
