Faith is believing and obeying God, despite what we see. The gospels tell of a paralytic whose friends had the faith to carry him to Jesus. When the crowd blocked the way, they went up to the roof, removed the tiles, and lowered him down! In the same way, God calls us to believe for and carry each other, because “the only thing that counts” is faith expressing itself through love.
