Lowered Expectations

Back 4 Blood dropped with plans to turn nostalgia into sales, but was this FPS out of Turlte Rock studios able to recapture the Left 4 Dead magic for a bunch of dudes who gave Noam Chomsky the ride of his life a decade ago? We give our verdict in the first half this month.

Afterwards we take turns chatting about games past we think deserver a proper reboot, which things about gaming trigger us the most, and games we expected to love but wound up hating.

Afterwards we go back and forth on the most badass moments we've ever experienced in gaming, which game or franchise has the GOAT soundtrack, and our gaming hot take for the year.

A sincere thanks to anyone listening through a year of various quality and consistently low results! At least we tell ya in the title ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's a sequel! Get ready to get spooky with us as we delve into The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope for our 2nd annual Halloween episode. Man of Medan was universally praised by the boys, so how does the witchy town of Little Hope follow up?

In the back half we woke up and chose violence, as discussions about game genres we can't stand and the first games that made us truly rage abound!
