Blake Baker is all in at LSU.
It doesn't hurt that his wife is a former Tiger soccer standout from Mandeville.
It doesn't hurt that he played four years of college football in New Orleans, either.
But mostly, Baker's bought into the vision Ed Orgeron has for the program, Daronte Jones has for the defense, and he has for the Tigers' linebackers.
He talks about giving that position group a fresh start, playing to each players' strengths, memories of Mandeville, and more on today's episode.
Daronte Jones has been everywhere, man.
Paris. Amsterdam. Milan. London. The list of destinations visited by LSU's well-traveled defensive coordinator is endless.
But now, he's in Baton Rouge, looking to build a defense that can bring the Tigers back to championship heights.
On today's episode of Hey Fightin' Podcast, Jones talks about his journey around the world and back to Louisiana, touching on scheme, spring takeaways, bourbon, books, and, of course, travel.

Kim Mulkey is hungry.
Not just for po-boys and Ponchatoula strawberries -- though she's missed them dearly during her time away from Louisiana.
She's hungry to win, and that appetite has never been satiated. Not after three championships as a head coach, two as a player, and one as an assistant. Not after an Olympic gold medal in 1984 or more than 600 career wins since 2000.
Mulkey also senses a hunger in Louisiana, as she comes back home to take over the reins at LSU after 21 years away from her home state.
Why return now? For the same reason she left then: God's timing.
