Susan is an author of two memoirs, a magazine editor, and an advocate for autism and mental health. She is the mother of two men, one of which has high-functioning autism. She also hosts a popular YouTube show called "Flaws are the New Black," and very recently won the opportunity to give a TED Talk at TEDx Tysons, this coming Fall.
Not only is Susan an accomplished writer with a brilliant & creative mind, but she is an incredibly present, loving, and supportive mother to her two adult sons. She is funny, self-assured, empathetic, and admirably intentional. She is the type of person that you want to be friends with...if you aren't already.
