Introduction to "Hotel, Hostel or Poshtel?"
In this episode of the Lifestyle, Travel & Technology podcast, the hosts Alexander, Garry & Nikki discuss what the difference is between a hotel, a hostel and a poshtel. As the younger generation prefers a more intimate and personalized experience when traveling, the tendency for them to choose a hostel or a poshtel over the traditional hotel is much higher.
Despite the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, many people in Europe have become impatient and started to travel to hot spot destinations like Ibiza or Prague to be able to enjoy their time with little to no limits and to avoid the strict guidelines given by governments in their home country. One of these guidelines in Austria for example is that businesses like bars, pubs and clubs are only allowed to be open until a specific time which is non existent in the aforementioned hot spot destinations. At these destination, the tourists are booking stays at hostels and poshtels more than they are booking accommodations in the surrounding hotels.
