Another week in Lucha, another edition of the Lucha Talk podcast on the award-winning MLW Radio Network. This week the Trios goes over more talk on the Crash/Impact relationship with involvement from Pro Wrestling NOAH, contracts and who could conceivably go where from an in-ring perspective. From there the scene goes over to Impact's other partner, AAA and in particular part 1 of the big Rey de Reyes show featuring Argenis' big win, Hamada's return, & Pagano & Mesias being best friends now. The show closes up with CMLL and their latest solid Friday show including praise for two great Lightning matches. Lucha Talk is here for its biggest show in weeks! (Well, it's the same amount of time as usual just with more important stuff to talk about) Lucha Underground debuted on Netflix and its Méxican counterpart had one of its most notable shows in which a young star was solidified as the King of Kings in Lucha Libre, and our reaction to Lucha Talk favorite Argenis wins in a shocker to many. On top of that we talk about the creative changes in AAA and where it's going in the future, as well as the surprising and befuddling alliance with Impact Wrestling on top of Impact's association with The Crash (Dylan also tuned in to Impact and thought it was a lot better than last week with the Luchadores actually debuting) and the likelihood of it being successful. Then things close out with a review of a show that made at least 9 dollars as we all ordered it, in CMLL Homenaje a Dos Leyendas. Another week, another episode of Lucha Talk as the Trio hits the half-year mark of the show with a light week of Lucha Libre including: CMLL this Friday, and a last second preview of Dos Leyendas with predictions of the matches that matter and we still were unhappy with Yoshitatsu's performance even after he's gone. From there we hit up AAA and Dylan & Lige struggle to find out who is the real Vampiro character on AAA Worldwide, including a can't miss closing segment featuring Texano stumbling into Vampiro's janitor's closet. To close out the show we go over the relationship between The Crash, Impact Wrestling, & NOAH, with Fredo taking time to mention how much he hated Impact's commentary after giving it the chance he promised, then in the main event segment, Fredo & LigerFever talk about a pair of excellent matches and performances from the former Chairman of WCW LA Park, including what many are calling the Lucha MOTY against Rush. This week the Trio returns with a lot of strange topics to put off having to talk about one of the worst main events anyone can remember in Lucha including Impact Wrestling bringing in a number of Lucha stars including La Rebelión's Garza Jr., Alberto El Patrón, & one of the OG3 of MLW, Konnan to make his return! From there Dylan & Lige go back to AAA Worldwide for a redux of the same main event we've seen a zillion times as well as a really good tag match. In addition we go over the winners from stage 1 of La Llave de la Gloria and who we think has the most potential. Then we go over the recent segment involving Conan O'Brien on his show in regards to Lucha Libre with the late night legend and his running buddy Andy Richter training in Lucha under their characters El Gallo Loco and El Bebe Malo respectively. How did they look in the ring? (Spoiler: Better than certain main eventers) Finally we finally tackle CMLL Friday as we talk about Yoshitatsu and if his performance was the worst ever seen in an Arena México ring and pity poor Volador Jr. for having to work with the Joker.
