Speaking of close, it seems like every week is a new favorite in the NFC West, with another loss, does the 49ers chances of Super Bowl glory inch ever closer to diminished. Minnesota survives a spirited effort from the Bears as Chicago can't seem to buy a win right now and the Houston Texans with one more collapse for the ages. Can we just blame it all on the injuries?

PLUS, the Cowboys finally looked like a professionaal organization but were they merely just fortunate for Washington's continued struggles in maturity.
