It was an ugly afternoon in Foxboro and not so much due to the snowy, messy weather. Drake Maye and CJ Stroud both had problems taking care of the football but the New England Patriots were able to survive yet another stellar performance by the Houston Texans top defense. Just which bounces went the right way to lock up another Pats trip to Championship Sunday. 

Caleb was Caleb in a snowy battle with the LA Rams. Some heroics and some ill-timed mistakes jettison Matthew Stafford and a gritty but shaky offensive with a gut-check defensive performance into Seattle for the NFC crown.

 wild back and back forth battle tests the Denver Broncos home field advantage but the bad luck of football hits the Buffalo Bills again and send Josh Allen to 0-7 all-time in overtime games and 0-3 in such contests in the postseason. 

Lumen Field is ROARING once again! The Seattle Seahawks get off to a fast start and it holds against Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and the M.A.S.H. unit of the San Francisco 49ers as Sam Darnold rolls on into Championship Sunday.

Despite a spirited effort from Bryce Young and the Panthers, Matthew Stafford is once again the comeback king and shakes off an otherwise shaky game to lead LA to the Divisional Round. Will their defense hold up against the rest of the NFC?

PLUS, Round 3 between the Bears and Packers as Jordan Love returns to the lineup for the first time in three weeks from a concussion. The effects didn't seem to hinder him much but a woeful Pack D just couldn't hold up versus yet another Caleb comeback.

A revisit to our preseason picks to see what Buccs McGee nailed and which teams we will be wearing some egg on our faces.  Some bad ones but the man in the red sherpa sporting the red pirate ship had a lot of keen insight too!

Well, not a whole lot was shaken up in the AFC South and the Colts season gets a punctuation on one dismal losing streak. But the Houston Texans stay RED HOT and will face the Steelers after their do-or-die tilt for the AFC North. Meanwhile, the 2-seed in the NFC could have been flipped but the defending champion Eagles said NAAAHHH. And the Bills and Rams reshuffle their respective Wild Card pictures.

And yes, sadly, Buccs McGee will join nutmeg on the sofa for the playoffs as the Atlanta Falcons send one final blow to the Bucs season, lifting the Panthers to the division crown amidst a horrendous 3-way, 8-9 tie in the NFC South. Are the Jags legit? And does Sam Darnold have what it takes to shrug off playoff ghosts of years past and ride the Seahawks to the Super Bowl?

Down to the final week and what’s left up for grabs? Homefield advantage for one in BOTH conference with the Pats and Broncos and the logjam that is the NFC West. No.2 in the NFC is between the Bears and Eagles. Jacksonville keeps pace to set up winner take all in the AFC South. And of course, the two divisions that NO ONE seems to want to put away, the doldrums that are the NFC South and the AFC North.

And with that the 2025 Season has drawn to a close. That’s what’s running through the Indianapolis Colts’ heads following the Texans dominant start and clutch closeout of the Chargers. Where do Justin Herbert & Co. go from here now that they have handed the AFC West to the Broncos? Houston puts pressure back on the Jags as the division title is back in play.

Well, well, well, guess the Jacksonville Jaguars belong in the contender conversation after all following a HUGE road win over the Broncos. Elsewhere, the Panthers take a step towards solidifying the NFC South and the Bills, Texans & Chargers hang around their respective division pictures in a special XTRA PTS segment. 

The Detroit Lions had a wild finish and may have been saved by the zebras but the officials went ahead and gifted it to the Pittsburgh Steelers anyway.
