But the Houston Texans stay RED HOT and will face the Steelers after their do-or-die tilt for the AFC North. Meanwhile, the 2-seed in the NFC could have been flipped but the defending champion Eagles said NAAAHHH. And the Bills and Rams reshuffle their respective Wild Card pictures.

And yes, sadly, Buccs McGee will join nutmeg on the sofa for the playoffs as the Atlanta Falcons send one final blow to the Bucs season, lifting the Panthers to the division crown amidst a horrendous 3-way, 8-9 tie in the NFC South. Are the Jags legit? And does Sam Darnold have what it takes to shrug off playoff ghosts of years past and ride the Seahawks to the Super Bowl?

Down to the final week and what’s left up for grabs? Homefield advantage for one in BOTH conference with the Pats and Broncos and the logjam that is the NFC West. No.2 in the NFC is between the Bears and Eagles. Jacksonville keeps pace to set up winner take all in the AFC South. And of course, the two divisions that NO ONE seems to want to put away, the doldrums that are the NFC South and the AFC North.

And with that the 2025 Season has drawn to a close. That’s what’s running through the Indianapolis Colts’ heads following the Texans dominant start and clutch closeout of the Chargers. Where do Justin Herbert & Co. go from here now that they have handed the AFC West to the Broncos? Houston puts pressure back on the Jags as the division title is back in play.

Well, well, well, guess the Jacksonville Jaguars belong in the contender conversation after all following a HUGE road win over the Broncos. Elsewhere, the Panthers take a step towards solidifying the NFC South and the Bills, Texans & Chargers hang around their respective division pictures in a special XTRA PTS segment. 

The Detroit Lions had a wild finish and may have been saved by the zebras but the officials went ahead and gifted it to the Pittsburgh Steelers anyway.

The Rams and Seahawks kick off Week 16 looking to put a fork in the NFC West and solidify the #1 Seed in conference. But this showdown between Sam Arnold and Matthew Stafford isn’t the only matchup with everything on the line this week.

Packers-Bears Round 2 is on Saturday Night Primetime with Chicago looking to clean up unfinished business from their last second loss a couple weeks ago. And the Packers are reeling after losing Micah Parsons for the season. To complete this threepeat of divisional grudge matches, the NFC South could very much be decided this week as Tampa Bay heads to Charlotte to take on the Panthers, off a stumble loss to the Saints. 

Divisions aren’t the only big time matchups. The Broncos look to get sharp against Jacksonville as the Jags are seeking a proving ground win, the Lions and Steelers square off to keep hold on their respective playoff chances and the Ravens host Drake Maye and the Patriots seeking a rebound from that comeback loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Buccs McGee & nutmeg2palmetto step into the elimination chamber to bid adieu to the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals as both meet their season's end in rather unrewarding fashion. And the Buffalo Bills seemingly could've been facing a tighter margin for error in a huge hole against the Patriots but stormed on back behind a monster game by James Cook.

And just like that, it appears the Indianapolis Colts’ season is cooked as Daniel Jones exits with what could be a season-ending injury as the nightmare in Jacksonville continues. A wild weekend in the elements was first punctuated by a flip-flop script of errors in the snow between the Bengals and Bills while the Ravens hardly look like the anointed champs as Aaron Rodgers & the Steelers grunt out a victory. The Bears and Packers took it down to the wire, but who could we trust more… or less?
