In Pursuit of Passion

Lucy Carter Vale - Creating a sense of belonging through dance

Listen Later

Do you find it hard looking for something that allows you to escape reality?

Have you needed help to make the first step in whatever you do?

What are your three non-negotiables?

In the second episode of season eight of this podcast, we were joined by the owner of LMA Studios, Lucy Carter-Vale, to talk about her passion for dance.

Lucy found her love for dancing at a very young age, and it allowed her to escape from the reality that she was in. She always dreamed of owning a dance studio, yet she lacked the confidence to go full ahead with this dream. However, through a moment in a car, she figured out the name of her studio, and the rest was history. Since starting LMA studios in 2017, Lucy has been able to create a sense of belonging for those who attend the dance studio and be a role model for future dancers.

In this conversation, we spoke about Lucy’s early upbringing, opening up LMA studies and the cost to her passion.
