Fue escrita por ella junto Dan Wilson, para su segundo álbum de estudio "21" y ambos se encargaron de la producción de la misma y fue lanzada como el segundo sencillo del álbum el 24 de enero de 2011 en el Reino Unido y el 9 de septiembre de 2011 en los Estados Unidos.
La canción está inspirada en una relación pasada de Adele, en las letras ella canta sobre el final de dicha relación con su exnovio, quien ahora está casado, y sin embargo, ella menciona que la relación no ha terminado para ella.
