Someone asked Jesus this question as he was on a gospel teaching tour, making his way Jerusalem.

Instead of trying to appease the person or deflect the question, Jesus goes right to the heart of the matter. You could always count on Jesus for never beating around the bush. After all, this is one of the most important questions a person could ask. What is the fate of humankind?

Jesus' answer? "Make every effort to enter the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to."

This weekend at CrossWalk Church, Jesus shows that he is the narrow door. He teaches us what the kingdom of God is like and how we can enter it.

Jesus is both the most exclusive and inclusive way there is. Jesus means to both warn us and comfort us. And most importantly, he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
