Jon Stevens started his singing career in New Zealand at the tender age of 13. After some success in his homeland, he set his sights on Australia, and proceeded to start the chart-topping band Noiseworks. In 1992, he appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar alongside John Farnham, Kate Ceberano and Angry Anderson. The cast recording album was the highest selling album in Australia in 1992, and the production remains one of Australia's most successful musical tours. He briefly fronted INXS, joined the Australian production of Happy Days: The Musical, wrote the theme for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch Relay and hosted a reality series on Channel 10. John has just released his new solo album Starlight, produced by Dave Stewart from Eurythmics and featuring Australia's vocal powerhouse Vanessa Amorosi.
