Decent sleep. Cool dreams - including snorkelling and seeing huge fish and whales. Went to the market with [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], and met the [REDACTED] there. Sent [REDACTED] on his first errand - to pick out a candle, pay for it, thank the seller, and return – by himself. Did pretty well. The candle he got was great. I burned it for three hours and it barely put a dent in the level of the wax. Seems like a very good quality candle. I got a beetroot paratha. Delicious. The guy on the stall was super nice. Want to get more off stuff off that guy next time. Some other Indian guy there had the craziest, husky/smoky/gravelly voice. Interwesting. Played with the baby some more. Final day with her for this visit. Amazingly cute. Will be walking by the next time I see her. She was close to walking a couple of times today. Did a couple of little chores. Relaxed. Didn’t get around to doing some work that I was going to do. It’ll be fine though. We’ll manage. We always do! Picked up some litter. Nice weather. Did some juicing meal prep. Hawks won - I listened to the last 30 seconds - tuned in when we definitely weren’t going to lose. “We’re a happy team at hawthorn!” There was a koala paw on our road this morning. Scared the crap out of me. I walked passed it and thought it was a mouse - then realised it was a paw. How the hell did that get there! And where’s the ready of the beast? Very curious. M: 6. Fell asleep so this posted after midnight. Doh.

Work. Cooked a couple of sides for a family dinner tonight. Not bad. Baby [REDACTED] arrived for her weekend visit. She’s so cuuuutte. Had a few holds. She came with me to take out the bin. I love her. Finally remembered to use a shovel from the back of Turket’s ute while he was here to dig away at the grass that has grown over the driveway on the south side. Got a fair chunk dug up. Was hard yakka! Will do more next time he’s here and I remember to work on it. Did the dishes. Listened to the footy. Blues beat Tigers, thank god. Coach Luke bevridge had a big sook yesterday and went off at a journalist in his presser, and I was loving all the condemnation he was getting - but today the journo got boned because some stuff was leaked showing him being a huge nobhead. Damn it! Did some light trolling of his friends from the WhatsApp group chat that was leaked. Jerks. Had a big bowl of chocolate. Delicious. I don’t say this lightly, but I think I looked quite good today. I got a couple selfies - and to my eyes, I looked scrumptious. M: 7. E: 6. 😐

Groggy. Work. Talk with manager went ok. Got a job finished, finally. Quite late unfortunately. Doh. Ate poorly. Didn’t close my rings on my watch. Bit flat. Was annoying in messages to people. Tried to go for a walk but felt a bit faint and lightheaded. Too warm and muggy today. First football game of the year sucked. Colleague is quitting a lot of things for Lent. Wholesome, cute. I’ve set a reminder to plan for Lent properly next year. Could be good. M: 4. E: 3. 😑😓

Work. Fucked it up, as usual. Day went quick, at least. A very recent arrival to our beautiful country from Afghanistan is doing her first day of paid work in Australia tomorrow - including some work on something that I commissioned today. “In times of plenty, build a longer table - not a higher fence.” Walk with mum and Ashlea [redacted] after work. Didn’t have dinner. Didn’t eat well today. Still playing Ellen Arkbro’s Sounds While Waiting album a bunch of times a day. So damn good. M: 4. E: 3. 😐😰😔😑

Hung around. [REDACTED] had a bit of an accident - and this was upsetting to folx. Which is always difficult. Went to the pub for a couple beers. Saw the lovely [REDACTED] for a burger on her way through town. Walked for a bit. Bit of a crappy day actually, all told. M: 3.5. E: 4. 😐😢😔

Lots of cuddling and holding through the night. God, that stuff is just the best. [REDACTED] is super pretty, so I was on cloud nine - peppering her with little kisses and quietly - and this is actually a very normal thing that people do - sniffing her while she dozed. Too cute. I’m not experienced at flings, so this is interesting. Food for thought.

Slept in a bit. Quick BBQ’d protein. Fed the cows and horse. Went to a couple of op shops. [REDACTED] got a bargain on some flowers from Coles. Lovely. She took off for her volunteering at Folky. I napped. Had a few beers and fish n chips with mum and the nephews. They loved garnishing their plates with nasturtiums. Little solo walk along the river. Bit of a sore throat. Negative result on a RAT test. Snacks and content. Alone. Waaahh. 😢 M: 7. E: 6. 😍😇 😔
